Terms of Service
Effective date: March 15, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of 911check.app ("the Service"), an EMS vehicle checksheet platform operated by 911check.app ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Accounts and Access
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Agency administrators are responsible for managing user accounts within their organization, including granting and revoking access as appropriate.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose: managing EMS vehicle checksheets and related operational records. You may not:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Upload malicious content, including viruses or harmful code
- Share your login credentials with unauthorized individuals
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
3. Data Ownership
Your agency retains full ownership of all data entered into the Service, including checksheet records, vehicle information, item inventories, and uploaded photos. We do not claim any ownership rights over your data.
You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
4. Service Availability
We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned downtime.
5. Data Backup
While we maintain regular backups of the Service, you are encouraged to use the built-in backup features to maintain your own copies of important data. We are not liable for data loss resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
- Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- We are not responsible for operational decisions made based on checksheet data. The Service is a record-keeping tool, not a substitute for professional judgment regarding vehicle readiness or patient safety.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. Agency administrators may deactivate user accounts within their organization.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Where possible, we will provide reasonable notice before termination and assist with data export.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active users of material changes via the Service or email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Contact
